Description

BIM services and 3D modeling are two distinct processes, optimizing each function and characteristic of a particular workflow; thus, it’s crucial to know the difference between them. BIM Modeling (BIM) is a visual depiction of a building's physical and functional characteristics. BIM modeling is capable of accurately representing a project in 3D perspectives and enable project team members to collaborate; they can interact with several databases to deliver job-specific knowledge, including estimators and specialty contractors. BIM modeling leads to the optimal usage of resources, such as reviewing the building schedule, identifying device clashes, and resolving safety issues before occurring on-site. 3D Modeling shapes three-dimensional structures from two-dimensional drawings based on coordinates and can depict various shapes, sizes, and textures. The architecture and construction industry uses 3D modeling to display planned landscapes and structures instead of using actual design models and is also helpful to produce prototypes of much more complicated designs. Building Information Models services and 3D Modeling tools for Architectural, Construction and Design companies to optimize project workflow and client service, but have different purposes, tools, and capabilities – and are not interchangeable. BIM serves as a container for the data collection, create a digital representation of construction, facility, or infrastructure's physical and functional characteristics, accelerating the construction process and enhance facility performance whereas 3D modeling is building a realistic representation of an object's surface in three dimensions – perfect for the visualization of ideas and final results....
