4) Benefits ERP system can support multiple business operation functions, increasing the benefits. ERP helps in more accurate business forecasting and decision-making. The data is now centralized that helps the firm as a whole in storing and communicating information centrally. Helps to control costs of the business in long run.

Risk Inefficiency might occur because of improper staff training. ERP system takes long time to implement causing increase in laps time. The ERP system chosen might not fit well with the business, leading to increasing costs. The implementation and replacement costs of the ERP system are high causing less profit.
