Description

Businesses Primarily Employ Corporate Social Responsibility Campaigns to Contribute to Its Financial Success I believe that businesses originally use CSR to contribute to their financial success because the main purpose of conducting a business is to achieve the maximum profit. Nowadays, a lot of people are paying their attention to the environmental issues and social responsibility. Therefore, in order to gain more support from stakeholders and customers, businesses promote their brand images by using CSR as one of the marketing strategies. Most consumers judge the companies from what they see such as the employees that are helping their community or the companies that donate to charities. The organizations that shows that they take responsibility in the ecosystem and community are usually favoured by consumers. 88 percent of customers tend to purchase from a company that supports and helps society to be better. Employing CSR can build the interestedness and notability to the brands and differentiates their products to other competitors’. It can also increase the sales and expand target consumers. However, building brand images by making campaigns for society can be seen as insincerity and can cause an opposite result. The activities that have been being done continuously to promote the brand images which relates to organizations’ visions will produce an effect to the brand identities. As a result, if it can be seen that the social and environment gain benefits from the campaigns and the organizations do not have any ruses to disguise their real intentions then it should be acceptable to use CSR as their marketing strategy. Even though plenty of people think that businesses should not desire for profit when using CSR, in fact, almost every corporation wants the benefit of economic gain and get the most value as much as they can.
