Calculator Policy for Stat 151 Midterm and Final Exam

Students must bring their own APPROVED NON-PROGRAMMABLE calculator (see below for the list) to the exams. If you already have a Faculty of Engineering gold sticker, it will be sufficient for the exam; but if you do NOT have a sticker, then you must obtain the gold sticker from the Faculty of Science identifying it as an approved non-programmable calculator. Students can purchase calculators at the University Book Store or can bring calculators purchased elsewhere to the CCIS Career Centre (CCIS 1-031, Monday to Friday 9am-4pm), where the appropriate sticker will be affixed to the calculator. You are not permitted to share a calculator. An approved calculator without a gold sticker or any other calculators will be confiscated (only to be returned at the end of the examination) and, as such, you will be required to do the exam without a calculator.
