Using similar yarn ABBREVIATIONS: MR= magic ring ch = chain sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet inc = increase (2 sc in one st) dec = decrease (sc 2 together) inv dec = invisible decrease FLO = front loop only BLO = back loop only sts (s) = stitches (s) sl st = slip stitch rep = repeat * * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated ( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round NOTE: Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker Start stuffing as you go PATTERN ARMS MAKE 2 RED YARN 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6) 2.- inc in each stitch around (12) 3-4.- 1 sc in each stitch around (12) 5.- *inv dec, 2 sc* rep 3 times (9) 6.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9) CHANGE TO ROYAL BLUE 7.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (9) 8-11.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9) CHANGE TO GOLD 12.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9) CHANGE TO RED 13.- inv dec, 7 sc (8) 3/26

Stuff firmly 14.- fold the arm and make 3 sc, both sides together to close. fasten off and make another one.

LEGS MAKE 2 RED YARN 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6) 2.- inc in each stitch around (12) 3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18) 4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24) 5.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (24) 6.- 8 sc, 4 inv dec, 8 sc (20) 7.- 6 sc, 4 inv dec, 6 sc (16) 8-11.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16) CHANGE TO ROYAL BLUE 12.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (16) 13-15.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16) Stuff firmly, fasten off .

We are going to continue with royal blue yarn in the back side of round # 5 FLO: 1 sc in each chain, sl st in the first sc. fasten off.

We are going to continue with red yarn in the back side of round # 12 FLO: 2 sc, 3 hdc, 5 sc, 3 hdc, 3 sc, sl st in the first sc. fasten off.

Make a second leg, DO NOT cut the yarn at the end. BODY Second leg make 6 sc and chain 3. now join the legs, count 3 sc of the first leg. see picture # 3 , place your stitch marker in the first sc.

16.- Make 16 sc , 3 sc over the chain taking only one strand , 16 sc , 3 sc over the chain taking only one strand (38)

17-18.- 1 sc in each stitch around (38) 19.- * 17 sc, inv dec* rep 2 times (36) 20-21.- 1 sc in each stitch around (36) CHANGE TO RED 22.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (36) CHANGE TO ROYAL BLUE 23.- BLO * 4 sc, dec * rep 6 times (30) 24-26.- 1 sc in each stitch around (30) 27.- * 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24) CHANGE TO GOLD 28.- 1 sc in each stitch around (24) CHANGE TO RED YARN 29.- 6 sc, we place the arm to join the body through the 4 strands and we make 3 sc, continued with 9 sc Place the second arm and make 3 sc and finish the round with 3 sc (24)

CHANGE TO SKIN COLOR 32.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (18) With our needle and Royal blue yarn we embroider 2 lines above our star, see pictures 8 and 9

HEAD 33.- * 2 sc, inc * rep 6 times (24) 34.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30) 35.- * 4 sc, inc * rep 6 times (36) 36.- * 5 sc, inc * rep 6 times (42) 37.-* 6 sc, inc * rep 6 times (48) 38-47 .- 1 sc in each stitch around (48) 48.-* 6 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (42) 49.-* 5 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (36) ¡Start stuffing as you go! Place safety eyes between round 44 and 43. 5 stitches apart With our needle and a long strand of skin color yarn, make one stitch to the sides of each eye. see picture 1 to 8

We push both eyes with our fingers while we carefully pull the yarn with the other hand. 6/26

After we have made sure the eyes are a little sunken, we make knots so that it does not come loose.

Embroider nose between rounds 42 to 41 Embroider mouth in round 39 Embroider eyelashes and eyebrows in round 46 50.-* 4 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (30) 51.-* 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24) 52.-* 2 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (18) Stuff firmly 53.-* 1 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (12) 54.- * inv dec * rep 6 times (6) Stuff firmly, fasten off HEARS MAKE 2 Skin yarn 1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5) We close it in half to form an ear, we make 1 chain and cut leaving a long thread. Sew ears between rounds 43 to 41

HAIR LIGHT BROWN YARN 1.- Make 37 chains, start in the 2nd chain from the hook and make 36 sc 2-20.- Repeat the same steps until you have 20 strands of hair.

21.- ch 1 and make 1 sc in each strand of hair (20) 7/26

fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

With our yarn needle we close the top

Pin the top row of hair equally, covering all spaces Pin the bottom row of hair equally, at the height of the ears, covering all spaces . With our yarn needle we sew the top and the bottom hair

Red yarn make 2 1.- Make 4 chains, start in the 2nd chain from the hook and make 3 sc, ch 1 and turn 2.- Make 3 sc (3) fasten off and leave a long tail. sew on round #22
