Jesse Armstrong III Professor Denise Dragos CSS 1011 13 February 2017 Case Project 4-1: Antivirus Comparison For the four antivirus programs I chose McAfee AntiVirus Plus, Norton, Avast Pro, and for the free one, Avira free antivirus. Attached along with this report are screenshots of the pros and cons of all programs in two separate tables. Personally I use the free version of Avast. It comes with most of the features that the pro version does besides malicious URL blocking but I personally don’t feel the need for those as I do not visit malicious websites often. Compared to what I use though, these pro versions are much better than my free version of course. If I had to recommend a pro version to someone, I would recommend the Bitdefender Antivirus in the table as it has everything for the close of only 19.99 compared to other products with everything that are usually 39.99. As far as free products go, I would recommend either Avast free or Avira. I feel that they will provide everything most people want when looking for the best free program to download....
