Two examples of horizontal software are TurboTax and the Adobe suite. 3. The textbook outlines the first steps of acquiring software as evaluating requirements, and researching vendor options via the internet, feedback, and testing. Once a recommended solution is decided upon, it should be implemented in a way that is minimally disruptive to business operations. 4. Logical design and physical design are both ways of illustrating a system. Logical design illustrates what a system will do, while physical design illustrates how a system will work, with emphasis on its processes.
