With the change in women’s purchasing patterns, women expect personal service during the purchase and installation process, precisely what Geek Squad is offering. According to the Consumer Electronics Association, women are expected to spend more than men soon. Since women expect Geek Squad services and are expected to purchase more electronics than men, it only makes sense that Best Buy acquired Geek Squad. b. With the Geek squad’s cultural acceptance by customers, i.e., by imitating Geek squad services in a television series named “Chuck.” It became evident to Best Buy that customers were now thinking of Geek Squad as a part of their lifestyle, and thus to attract more customers to Best Buy, Best Buy acquired Geek Squad. c. Consumers today expect great products and excellent service. As a result, when discount stores such as Walmart and PC manufacturers such as Dell began competing with Best Buy, new services such as home installation were needed to create value for customers. Hence, Geek Squad was an expert in providing electronics and technological services, acquiring Geek Squad was the best option for Best Buy. Ans 2. There are many trends in social forces likely to influence Geek Squad in the future. The first thing to take into consideration is the changing demographics and culture. With the increasing interest of women in purchasing electronics, women expected personal service during the purchase and installation process, precisely what Geek Squad offers, which created a significant opportunity for Geek Squad to offer their services. With the increasing competition of the technological services provided by other companies such as EasyTech services and Tech Depot services by Staples and Office Depot, respectively, there is a threat on Geek squad of losing their customers. Regulatory forces influence the business decisions of any company. The regulatory environment continues to change concerning the electronic transfer of copyrighted materials such as music and movies, and software. Geek Squad must monitor the changes to ensure that its services comply with relevant laws. Thus, regulatory forces have a negative influence on Geek Squad.

Technological forces have a powerful influence on a company like Geek squad, which deals with electronics daily. With the increasing technological advancement, there are high chances of viruses, spyware, lost data, and “crashed” or inoperable computers. New technologies have also created a demand for new maintenance types such as password management, operating system updates, disk cleanup, and “defragging.” Thus, all these technology-related problems act as a threat, and an opportunity to Geek Squad as it has to deal with a considerable amount of such problems as Geek Squad is a company that is popular in providing excellent technological services. Ans 3. a. To maintain the profit responsibility, geek squad can maintain their proper accounts or balance sheet to keep the track of their revenues and expenses as there will be alot of chaos with the tracks. this is because they have a huge profit margin and they make more than $2 billion in revenue. moreover, it is big company so if they will maintain their accounts proper, it will benefit the whole organization including employees. b. in respect to stakeholder's responsibility, the company has to focus on their customers, employees and their shareholders. so, geek squad is already fulfilling this responsibility by providing customer satisfaction and giving them importance by focusing on their needs. another thing geek squad is doing is giving their employees the option of working anytime means flexible schedules and there will be no meetings compulsions. It can also start giving perks and benefits to their employees so they feel motivated and dedicated to their work. c. Geek squad can fulfill its societal responsibility by generating employment in the society and by focusing on the environment also. It can start recycling the products that are hazardous for the environment....
