INDUSTRIAL BACKGROUND The beauty industry has become an important industry nowadays. A variety of beauty products are produced in the market. Although the country’s economy was affected by this Covid-19 pandemic, the beauty marketplace still has not been discontinued.

THE BRAND KAYMAN BEAUTY Kayman Beauty is a Skincare brand in Malaysia. They are committed to bring people safe and high quality Skincare products that work best for theirs skin very much in line with their tagline “Your Skin’s Favourite Companion” [CITATION Hom19 \l 17417 ].

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Kayman Beauty is a business that specializes in skincare. Through online selling, the Kayman Group intends to sell a large number of their skincare products, which will include to local and international buyers. They also conduct customers services in case the purchases have problem.

MARKET CHARACTERISTICS (GEOGRAPHIC OR TARGET) Kayman Beauty average clients are woman aged within 18 to 40 years old. They also target old women and men. There is no gender boundary when it becomes to skincare since they have been encouraged people that men and women need to take care of their facial hygiene.

They have virtual store aka website that can easily facilitate within and outside of Malaysia. For now, they only deliver their products within Malaysia, Singapura and Brunei. However, they target to expand their products to worldwide [CITATION Ros20 \l 17417 ].

ENTREPRENEURAL TEAM The Kayman Group was founded in 2017 by Mrs. Nabella Anuar [CITATION Hom19 \l 17417 ]. In early of the establishment of the company, her husband was her assistant and helper. After few years of hard work, they are able to hire new members to join their company that each one of them have their specialize in their own field. Now, they have become a larger company that hire people as their dropships, agents and stockists.

2.ENTREPENUER PROFILE

Name: Fatin Nabila Binti Khairul Anuar Age: 28 y/o Gender: Female Occupation: Director of Nabella Anuar Group Sdn Bhd. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KaymanBeauty (A brand under her company). She has another brand under her company but refuse to tell it.

Personality Profile: Loves to read books especially English novels. She loves doing business. Started doing small business when she was 23 years old [CITATION Ros20 \l 17417 ]. That time, she was not interested to pursue her study although she got scholarship. Nabella was 23 years old when she started doing her small business. Starting with the profit of becoming a dropship agent of an apparel brand, the money raised through the sale of shoes, clothes and bags amounting to RM 15,000 was invested to build her dream business empire which is now named Kayman Beauty[CITATION Ros20 \l 17417 ]. She was assisted by her family members including her grandmother. She still remembered the time she presented her business proposal in front of her grandma to make a loan with her to start her business [CITATION Ros20 \l 17417 ]. The name of Kayman was created based on her father’s nickname, Khairul Anuar Bin Che Man. She combined her father’s first and last name [ CITATION Bel18 \l 17417 ].

Khairul-Kay Man- Man During the 4 years Kayman products in market industry, they have launched 7 types of products till now which are coalface soap, coalface cleanser, Rosa Glow Treatment Essence, Wipe-it All Makeup Remover, Golden Cocoon Multi Element Mask (MEM), Skintella Moisturizing Gel and Skintella Repairing Serum[CITATION Hom19 \l 17417 ]. In the past, their sales were only RM8k+ in a month but now they can generate sales up to hundred thousand Ringgit Malaysia and above [CITATION Sif19 \l 17417 ]. How? We will see in her competencies later.

Mrs Nabella Anuar has been seeking and studying information from experts. For instance, for sales or business information, she has been attending an expert’s class, which is SifuBad’s Class to learn about marketing, business management, risk management, problem solving and its solution [CITATION Sif19 \l 17417 ].



Furthermore, she has been hiring few chemists from Malaysia and Korea to produce the best and safe ingredients of her products. For example, their mask was their first product to be produced in Korea [ CITATION Edi20 \l 17417 ].

Efficiency Orientation



Mrs Nabella Anuar has been lowering her advertisement cost. She does spend on advertisement in social media like Instagram but the budget is only RM 300 per

month. However, she still can generate up to hundred thousand Ringgit. This is due to the engagement marketing with her regular customers[ CITATION Sif19 \l 1033 ]. She proves that entrepreneur doesn’t have to spend much modal in advertising. iii.

Concern for High Quality of Work



Mrs Nabella always prioritize her products’ quality. Therefore, she has been producing the best formulation and packaging of the same product to the best and latest. For example, Kayman’s Coalface Soap has been upgrading for 3 times for the best packaging and formulation. Hence, this soap has become a craze for many of their regular customers.

Self-Confidence



In the early of Kayman establishment, Kayman was lack of recognition and success. This is due to the judgemental of Malaysians, who criticized the capabilities of local products[ CITATION kay \l 1033 ].



Furthermore, it also due to others beauty competitor. However, Mrs Nabella said “I

do not focus on other brands because I am confident that each of them has their own specialties and sustenance. What is important, I want the best for myself and this developed brand”[ CITATION Sha19 \l 1033 ].



Due to this self-confidence, Mrs Nabella able to expand her business and became one of the top beauty Entrepreneur in Malaysia[ CITATION Ros20 \l 1033 ].
