Professor Burns Homework Assignments from Tro Textbook...

Description

Chem 120 Homework Assignments Fall 2019 The review questions at the end of each chapter are unassigned, but you should be able to answer them by the time you have finished the chapter. There are two sources for your homework problems: the end of chapter problems in the textbook and the problem sets at the beginning of the lab manual. In general, start with the textbook problems to master the basics then move on to the challenge problems and the problems in the lab manual. Homework problems stated within parenthesis are not required. The problems in parenthesis are variations on assigned problems; you should feel comfortable working concepts in a variety of presentations. Notice that many of the early problems are categorized, so that if you find you are having trouble with a particular concept, you can do more of that type of problem. NOTE: The numerical answers are listed in the back of the textbook for nearly all the homework problems and at the bottom of the lab manual pages. Thus, you must show your work to get credit for your homework. A list of numerical answers transferred to a sheet of paper is not sufficient to get credit for the homework. I am leaving plenty of unassigned problems so that you have lots of practice problems to use for exam self study.
