research on Three Countries Period - 三国时期 刘备...

Description

History has always held two sides of the equation for Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period. One cannot accurately judge what kind of a man he really was? In this regard, please give your personal opinion and discuss it in the light of historical facts.

Answer: Liu Bei (161 - 10 June 223), known as Xuande, was a native of Zhuo County, Zhuo County, Youzhou Prefecture (now Zhuozhou City, Baoding City, Hebei Province) during the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and the founding emperor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period.

According to the Three Kingdoms Records? The Biography of the First Lord, Liu Bei was a descendant of Liu Sheng, King of Han Zhong Shan Jing, a clan member of the Han dynasty. In the third year of his reign (223), Liu Bei died at the age of 63 in the city of Baidi, posthumously known as Emperor Zhaolie, with the temple name Liezu (or Taizong), and was buried at Huiling. There are numerous literary works featuring him in later times, and there is a Zhaolie Temple at the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu in his honour.

As the saying goes, mercy does not lead the army, and righteousness does not manage money. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei seems to have been a very merciful man, especially when he brought the people across the river and Liu Bei wept bitterly. In fact Liu Bei was not at all soft and sometimes unkind to people. In a word: Liu Bei was not merciful.

Liu Bei was not merciful, he was a very fierce man when he first came out of the mountains, and this enabled him to command the battlefield and lead a group of brothers into battle. Liu Bei was not merciful, he fought without any ambiguity. In the midst of chaos, to rise to power, you have to rise from the dead, Liu Bei was definitely not a coward, he was a hard man. The fact of blood made Liu Bei understand that he could not be merciful.

Liu Bei's family was not a generous one, and despite claiming to be the descendant of King Jing of Zhongshan and the grandson of Emperor Xiaojing, everyone knew that he was a child who sold straw sandals. His father died young and it was not easy for his mother to bring him up. His mother, probably a lady of the house, allowed Liu Bei to read a lot of books, but in that society, Liu Bei still had no status, and the fact that Liu Bei was able to buck the trend in the end shows Liu Bei's resilience and hard work. Those who have read The Romance of the Three Kingdoms know well that the phrase "weaving mats and peddling shoes" came from the mouth of Yuan Shu. At the time of the battle between Yuan Shu and Liu Bei, Yuan Shu raised his horse in front of the two armies and shouted: "Dalek thief! You weaver of mats and shoes! I will defeat you!" . In ancient society, there was a hierarchy of people. People divided society into four classes, namely, "scholar, farmer, worker and merchant". Yuan Shu was insulting and belittling

Liu Bei, saying that Liu Bei was the lowest of the low, and that he was doing the lowest of the low, weaving straw shoes. As the fourth and third Duke, Yuan Shu thought that such a small man, who was not recognised by society and had no reputation, was not even worthy to carry his shoes, let alone to engage in war with a man of his high rank. In the end, however, Yuan Shu did not even have honeyed water, while Liu Bei actually defeated him. It is evident that there is no shortage of uneducated and unskilled people among the second generation of officials, and even if heaven gives them a ladder to heaven, it is difficult for them to stay in heaven, and those destined for hell, with the golden key in their mouths, may not even be able to live in heaven.

Liu Bei was a man of ambition. Although his family was poor, Liu Bei had great ambitions as a child. Used to blow false and show off his birthright a lot in front of his peers, and used to boast about riding in the car of the Son of Heaven like a big tree! After much fooling around, everyone knew that Liu Bei was not willing to just stay at home and be an old man in obscurity. He later befriended Guan Yu, a prisoner wanted by the authorities, and Zhang Fei, a relatively well-to-do young man in the area, and the three met in this way. Initially Guan Yu was trying to avoid trouble, Liu Bei's bullying, claiming to be a member of the Great Han royal family, who at that time did not look up to the Great Han royal family; Zhang Fei, because of his young age, had always looked up to Liu Bei. From then on Liu Bei haunted the world and was not alone in his battle.

Liu Bei was very responsible, at that time things must be atmospheric, to dare to take responsibility, can not be afraid of the wolf before and after the tiger, Liu Bei to Guan Yu Zhang Fei is very cared for, in order to have a foothold, three people to participate in the suppression of the yellow turban team, has made a lot of battle achievements, Liu Bei was therefore appointed as the Anxi County Lieutenant. From then on, Liu Bei also had a formal civil service job, although Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were not yet established, but the friendship between the three grew day by day. Soon the court wanted to eliminate this part of the officials who had gone up because of their military service, after all, without a background and without being able to fight, Liu Bei was also to be eliminated. The man who came to give the order was an arrogant fellow who, upon arrival, reprimanded Liu Bei and even asked for something for him. Annoyed, Liu Bei snatched the whip and gave Du Post a severe beating, then took Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, raised his whip and drove his horse all the way to the west.

Liu Bei was quick-tempered to begin with, so he killed many people in his life, such as Cao Cao's great generals, Che Che and Cai Yang. Liu Bei also set fire to Xinye County, which was not put there by Zhuge Liang, and Liu Bei's martial arts skills were also excellent, so some of the books on Dingjun Mountain say that Liu Bei beheaded the famous Cao Wei general Xiahou Yuan.

Liu Bei was never a soft-headed man, and had a great deal of tact, so when Lu Bu cried and asked Liu Bei to put in a good word for him at the White Gate Tower, Liu Bei sent Lu Bu to the guillotine with the

words "Does Ming Gong know how Lu Bu treated Ding Jianyang Dong Zhuo"; so when Zhao Zilong retrieved his son Liu A Dou for him in the midst of an army of ten thousand horses Liu Bei hurriedly threw his son in front of Zilong's horse in order to buy Zilong's heart; so when he was dying, he asked Zhuge Liang to treat his son generously, but deliberately covered it up and asked Zhuge Liang to take his place.

To be able to divide the world in three and have one of them, to be able to make Cao Cao boil wine and praise the character, to be able to make Sun Quan willingly marry his sister, to be able to make the assassin put down the sharp blade in his hand, to be able to make Guan Yu Zhang Fei and other people deadly bitter, Liu Bei is not destined to be a coward, Liu Zhang has his heart set on Liu Bei, so only in the end he willingly surrendered the West River. Liu Bei was not at all generous and drove Liu Zhang out. By the time Guan Yu died in battle and Zhang Fei was killed, the impetuous Liu Bei was determined to fight Sun Quan, despite his old age, for no other reason than that Cao Cao was dead and there were no more heroes in the world. The absence of a hero at the time made the vertical son famous. Liu Bei was determined to teach Sun Quan a lesson, but of course he did not expect Sun Quan to be more powerful than himself, especially with Lu Xun under him, his own gravedigger.

Liu Bei was not an easy man, this is not just to say not a mediocre man, he had to go several levels further. A man who could get Zhuge Liang to come out of his mountain and willingly help fight the rivers and mountains, a man who could get straightforward Zhang Fei, proud Guan Yu and the ever-victorious Zhao Yun to follow Liu Bei for the rest of his life, Liu Bei was definitely not a man of the pool. To have his enemies praise him as a match for chess is a sign of how capable Liu Bei was....
