Introduction A festival is an event ordinarily celebrated by a community and responsibility on some characteristic aspect of that community and its religion or cultures. Furthermore, the festival often serve to fulfil specific communal purpose, especially in regard to commemoration or thanking to the god and goodness. More than that, in festival they make the delicious food is such a vital resource that many festivals are associated with more time. Many festivals have religious origins and entwine cultural and religious significance in traditional activities. The most important religious festivals such as Eid al- Adha, Chinese New Year, Christmas and Diwali serve to mark out the year.

Chinese Festival  Dragon Boat festival The dragon boat festival is a traditional holiday that commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar Qu Yuan. This festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunisolar calendar. In festival, food serve where many eat rice dumplings, drink wine and the same time they race dragon boats. More activities they prepared such as hanging icons of Zhong Kui, hanging mugwort and calamus, talking long walks, writing spells and wearing perfumed medicine bags. Add on the best in dragon boat festival is making add stand at noon. In Malaysia, this festival in Penang, Malaysia.



Mid- Autumn Festival This festival most important in Chinese festival. The Mid-Autumn festival is a traditional holiday originating from the worship of the moon and it symbolizes harvest and family reunion. This festival is celebrated with family, similar to the Thanksgivng Day. Furthermore, family members get together on this day and enjoy with the full moon, which is an auspicious symbol of luck and harmony and feast on delicious mooncakes.



Hungry Ghost Festival The Hungry Ghost is about believed that world consist of six realms but one of them is called which is loosely translated as hungry ghost. In this festival, the dwellers are said to be always hungry with insatiable appetite but they lack the means to either eat or drink. The ghost are ones that have been neglected by their living family for long time, died unfairly or not been given proper send off when they died. They also prepared besides food, families should provide offerings in of ‘’hell money’’. In the same time, the doing Chinese operas and puppet shows used to be very common but due to the declining interest in such performances.



Laba festival Laba festival was a celebration of the harvest of the past at the end of calendar year with large ceremonies to worship ancestor. The most important activities on the Laba festival is to eat Laba congee or porridge which is made rice with important ingredient. This festival also make together with the family.



Double Nine Festival The means of Double Nine is about number ‘’nine’’ belongs to Yang in the theory of Yin and Yang. The festival is usually perfect for outdoor activities. During the Double Nine , people celebrate by drinking Chrysanthemum wine and eating Chongyang cake. Part of the country, people go mountain climbing or travel to areas where they can admire and it is indeed a major festival that is celebrated with a lot of pomp.

Religion in Malaysia  Islam Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching that there is only one God and that Muhammad is messenger of God. Muslims make up a majority of the population in 50 countries and also Islam teach that Allah SWT is merciful, all powerful and has guided humankind through prophets, revealed scriptures and natural signs. Muslims believe that Islam is the complete and universal version. As we know, Muslims consider the Quran in its original Arabic to be the unaltered and final revelation of God. As Muslim have to know the Five pillars of Islam, which are obligatatory acts of worship and following Islamic law.



Buddhism Buddhism is an Indian religion attributed of the teachings of the Buddha, supposedly born Siddartha Gautam, and also known as the Tahtagata and Sakyamuni. Early texts have his personal name as Gautama without any mention of the Goal which appears to have been a kind of honorific title when it does appear. Most Buddhist traditions share the goal of overcoming suffering and the cycle of death and rebirth. Hinduism Hinduism includes a diversity of ideas on spirituality and traditions, but has no ecclesiastical order, no unquestionable, religious authorities, no governing body, no prophet and not any holding binding holy book. In this religion, the following can’t eat meat because the believe about the meat is a god. Hindu tradition of questioning of these truths and to further develop the tradition. Hinduism like other faiths is appropriately referred to as a religion.



Christian In Christians, they share basic convcitions, there are also differences of interpretations and opinios of the Bibble and scared traditions on which Christianity is based. They concise doctrial statements or confessions of religious beliefs are known as creeds.

They begans as baptismal formule and were later expanded. They also believe about Jesus was anointed by God as savior of humanity and hold that prophecies of the Old Testment. Furthermore, chirstian belief is that through belief in and acceptance of the death and resurrection of Jesus, sinful humans can be reconciled to God and thereby are offered salvation and the promise of eternal life.



Taosim Is a religion or philosophical tradition of Chinese origin which emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao. It is contested by hermeneutic difficulties in the categorization of the different Taoist schools, sects and movement. Taosim does not fall under an umbrella or a definition of a single organized religion like the Abrahamic tradition. In Chinese history, the three religions of Buddhism, Daisom and Confucianism stand on their own independent views.

The traditional festival will really introduce you life in China. There are annual events like Chinese New Year, the Hungry Ghost, Double Nine, Dragon Boat and Laba festival. The festival introduced here been selected for their traditional Chinese nature. Often the dates will vary from year to year because they are celebrated according to the Chinese calendar. Traditional festivals, which are part of the culture created by and shared among the whole nation, crystallize the cultural quintessence of a particular nation. [ CITATION Abu15 \l 17417 ]

Conclusion In conclusion, Malaysia very fully of festival and more important in culture. For good reason too, Malaysia is home to several ethnicities who still continue to practice the cultures and religions of their forefathers. Furthermore, the spirit of Malaysia multi-cultural identity, many of these cultural and religious festivities are embraced by the community as a whole and celebrated nationwide as a whole and celebrated nationwide, regardless of race or belief. In festival, they make relationship with family, people and worldwide. Without festival, the hole years don’t have fully colourful of day.
