Description

Personal 1. Cyber bullying Message- While reviewing the email messages in your email account, you notice one that you interpret as cyberbullying. You do not recognize the sender of the email message, but still take it seriously. What are your next steps? My next steps would be to first save the email as a record so I can have evidence and show someone who can take this into further action such as the police. I would then block the sender from emailing me and move the email to my junk folder. 2. Unexpected search engine- A class project requires that you conduct research on the web. After typing the web address for Google’s home page and pressing the enter key, your browser redirects you to a different search engine. What could be wrong? You probably spelled the web address wrong or the web address is probably shut down and will have to find another web address and make sure that the address is spelled correctly. 3.Social media password- Your social media password has been saved on your computer for quite some time and the browser has been signing you in automatically. After deleting your browsing history and saved information from your browser, the online social network began prompting you again for your password, which you have forgotten. What are your next steps? The next steps would be to re enter the password and this time save it. It also should be a button that reads “forgotten password” which I would do. This would require you to enter your email address and enter a new password and click save to computer and your password will be saved again. 4.Suspicious website visits- The director of your company’s information technology department sent you an email message stating that you have been spending an excessive amount of time viewing websites not related to your job. You periodically visit websites not related to work, but only on breaks, which the company allows. How does he know your web browsing habits? How will you respond to this claim? The director of the company may be monitoring the employees browsing history. I would respond to this claim by asking to read and view the company’s privacy and policy regarding internet usage. 5.Automatic response-When you return from vacation, a colleague informs you that when she sent email messages to your email address, she would not always receive your automatic response stating that you were out of the office. Why might your email program not respond automatically to every email message received?

Some email programs only send automatic responses one time per sender or there could be something wrong with the internet connection and how fast it sends or receive emails....
