Class Timetable MAS183 has 4 kinds of classes: Lectures, Tutorials, Labs and Help classes. Attendance is not compulsory for any classes. Tutorial and Lab participation are assessable for Internal students (see Unit Information). If you can’t get to Tutorials and Labs, please enrol externally. Classes are of 50 minutes duration, EXCEPT that online labs and tuts are 90 minutes. External students have no class-based assessment but are welcome to attend any classes they want to.

4. More help? Ask Us! Don’t forget: you are entitled to free help from your tutor and unit coordinator. For simple questions it is best to use email. Include the Unit Code, your student number, and your name in the subject line. Phone calls may be more difficult, as academic staff are busy and may not be available. If a personal consultation is required, please make an appointment via email or phone-call. Tutor email addresses are available on the Unit Information, Tutorials, and Assignments pages on LMS. Note that asking questions immediately after a class is the worst time, as the class and the tutor need to pack up and leave the venue, and the tutor may have another class to teach immediately afterwards.
