Blank Blank January 16, 2016 WRD 104 Topic for paper for the quarter The topic I am considering for my paper this quarter is “Should college athletes be allowed to draft themselves before it is time for them to graduate?’’. I’ve chosen this topic for two reasons. One reason is because most of my close male friends and family members are amazing athletes that have the potential to make it big in whatever sport that it is that they play and with me writing this paper I hope it will help them make the right decision with their future. My other reason for writing this essay is because I have a cousin, his name is Chris Mccullough who was drafted to the Brooklyn Nets but he is unable to play at the moment because he tore his ACL right before he considered himself to be eligible for the NBA; although he will be eligible to play in the spring, not all athletes that get injured are blessed like he is and then what would be the next step for those injured athletes without degrees? What I know about this topic is that it has been a controversial topic for over a year now.
