It can be either simple or rather complicated, but it will always help the audience to focus on the topic of a speech and visualize the main claims the presenter is making. Another extremely effective visual aid is the item the speaker is talking about. For example, if a speech is about different soil types, the presenter may bring some real examples of different soils and let the audience touch, look, smell etc. in order to connect with the topic.
