28th of September 551BC- Confucius (Master Kong) was born in Zou, Lu the Chinese state (near present-day Qufu, Shandong Province). He was named Kong Qiu and his

parent’s names were Yan Zhengzai, his mother and his father Kong he also known as Shuliang He was an officer in the Lu Military. There family were very destitute because Confucius’ parents got in trouble with the emperor, so he took their lands and money.

548BC- When he was an age of 3 his father died. At an age of 15 Confucius started studying, an age of 19, Confucius married a women whose name was Qi Quan. They had they first child, the following year and he was named Kong Li. He started going to school to learn

528BC-519Bc Confucius’ mother (Yan Zhengzai) died; Confucius wandered around and was mourning for three years. At an age of 32, Confucius started teaching ancient rituals to a minister’s son. The next few years Confucius started to learn the customs, traditional of the Chou Empire, rites, ceremonies and he visited Lao Tzu (famous Taoist).

Unknown Date- When Confucius finished school; he became a teacher at the school.

517BC-516BC- Confucius accompanied the Prince of Lu to flee the country to a neighbouring state because they were terrorized by powerful rivals. When Confucius was 35 years old, he tried to get involved in politics to take control of Duke of Lu to give him some money and some lands back. His strategy didn’t work so he continued to teach again.

501BC- When Confucius turned fifty; he became the magistrate of Chungtu. During this time Yang Ho was defeated by other Barons. Confucius was managing the job really well so; he was promoted to be the office of the Secretary of Public Works. When Confucius was running this job, many people think that he is maintaining the job really effective because since, he was running this job; the market prices were

equitable and fair. After working the job (office of the Secretary of Public Work), he was promoted again to Grand Secretary of Justice.

1st January499BC- 485BC- Confucius and his followers left the state of Lu and began a trip of twelve years of wandering of every state to find a city that is not corrupt, a peaceful place to settle in and hoping a place where he could use his principles and politics. Each state, they have been to, Confucius gives every emperor an advice, but usually emperor ignores the advice. One time, Confucius was locked up behind bars (jail) because of numerous reasons. At an age of 68 (483BC-483BC), Confucius returned to the native land of Lu, Confucius continued teaching Poetry, History, ceremonies and music because the government in Lu didn’t hire him. A year before Confucius returned back, his wife died followed by his son, battling in the TzuLu battle.

485BC -1st January 479BC- From that day Confucius and his followers returned, Confucius was very ill, after knowing that his wife and his son died. In 479BC, Confucius died and he was buried in Lu on the River Sze at the age of 73.

5th and 6th century BC- Confucianism is a way of life taught by Confucius and it has influenced many people throughout the world. It is considered as a religion for numerous of people and Confucius thinks that the prime importance of life is to be educated, learn how to respect each other and a way that people should act every day....
