Introduction On January 2, 2018, Calgary-based Agrium Inc. and Potash Corporation merged and from that, Nutrien Ltd. was born.

Nutrien Ltd. became the world's leader in providing crop

inputs and services, with over 2,000 retail locations in seven countries, where they help growers find sustainable ways to increase food production. Nutrien Ltd. has corporate offices located in Saskatoon, SK and Calgary, AB., which produces and distributes crop products for farmers, industrial, feeds customers and operates through a retail arm that supplies Potash, Nitrogen, and Phosphate. The retail distributes crop nutrients, crop protection products, seeds and merchandise. They also provide agronomics who work in the field to provide services to growers by optimizing their production and distribution of fiber, food and finding better ways to use their land and food production. Potash, Nitrogen, and Phosphate produce differential chemical nutrients contained in each product. The benefits of these chemicals are Nitrogen helps the leaves grow, Phosphate stimulates plant growth and Potash is used for its nutrients and helps prevent nitrogen depletion, which assists better throughout a plant life cycle.  There are three main offices, a registered head office in Saskatoon and two corporate offices, one in Calgary and the other in Saskatoon.  With a commitment to customers and local communities, the workforce's primary focus is their combined companies' strength and capabilities.

Integrated Strategy

Market Strategy Nutrien understands the future of our food security for an estimated population of 10 billion by 2050 and the need to support all farmers, suppliers and retailers to continue to sell and grow food. By doing so, farmers ensure that the existing land and water resources continue to produce food using Nutrien's products and their experts' influence. With the help from Nutrien's experts and impact, there is potential to increase crop yields, help limit deforestation, and provide opportunities for growers worldwide to enjoy sustainable livelihood by increasing food supply reliability.

Nonmarket Strategy Nutrien's nonmarket strategy would be making food essential for life by making it assessable to all corners of the Earth, whether we grow our food or buy it at your local grocery store. We all want to eat healthily and be happy with our essential or comfort food, so it no surprise when a country starts to grow and prosper, its residences decide to eat healthier.

Conclusion and Recommendation(s) Nutrien purpose is to strive at community contributions globally and support local community initiatives that align with Nutrien's three main focuses: sustainable agriculture by contributing and building awareness to the economy and society, through education, food production and research for the safety of all farmers and their families, environmental footprint by promoting ecosystem health, protecting the air, water and soil quality, supporting community adaptation, resilience and a better understanding of the environment and diversity and inclusive growth in working towards positive social change, decrease inequalities across their organizations' by developing a career and job opportunities for women in non-traditional roles, finding and closing gaps under-represented population, supporting military veterans and supporting reconciliation with the Indigenous people. Nutrien invested $17 million through involvement in the communities by participating in community events, as members of the Chambers of Commerce, Community Advisory Panels and other local or charitable organizations. Although Nutrien's nonmarket strategy is to continue feeding all the people in the world and to ensure we all eat healthier from country to country. To achieve this without impacting the environment, the use of greenhouse gases and air emissions from their products to burning natural gases, other fuels emissions and the usage of electricity, steam and heat.

Water

management includes reusing and recycling polluted water where possible. If not possible, then tests are completed on the water to ensure it is environmentally friendly to dispose of either onsite treatment plants, underground injection wells, or off-site surface water bodies....
