Thismedicineisusedtotreathighbloodpressureortopreventchestpains(angina)

Thesetabletsaretakenonceeachday.Trytotakethematthesametimeeachday

Thismedicinecanoccasionallycauseflushing(feelingwarm/hotorlookingveryred), headacheanddizziness.Thesesideeffectsnormallygoawayintimebutiftheydo notandtheycauseyouproblemspleasecontactyourdoctor



Somepatientsnoticetheiranklesswellwhentheytakethismedicine.Ifthisdoesn’t goawayafterafewweeksyouneedtomentionthistoyourGP

Atenololcansometimescausepeopletofeelweakortired.Itcanalsocausepeople tohavecoldhandsorfeet,vividdreamsortroublesleeping.Thesesymptoms sometimesgoawaywithtimebutiftheydonotandtheycauseyouproblemsplease contactyourGP



Somemedicinesyoucanbuyoverthecounterforcoughs,coldsandhayfevershould notbetakenwiththesetablets.Alwayscheckwithyourpharmacistwhetheritis safetotakeanyothermedicinewiththesetablets


