4. Course Description: This course aims to introduce the BBA students to understand the Fixed Income Securities’ markets, indices, valuation models and risks. Students will be able to critically assess different financial situations, especially financial crisis, in different business settings.

Students will be able to write effective market analysis regarding valuation and risks of securities. Students will be able to critically evaluate different fixed income market situations Students will be able to effectively work and complete group assignments Students will be able to create a portfolio of Fixed Income Securities with less risks Students will be able to demonstrate necessary knowledge of Fixed Income Securities, Markets, Indices, Valuation Models and Risk Assessments
6. Assessment Task Description a) Quizzes Quizzes will be based on theoretical concepts and their applications. They will be combination of both descriptive and exploratory in nature. b) Seminar / Presentations Students will be required to present their work progress of project. As project work has been into five parts, so presentations will be conducted according to the project phase/part. c) Project The final Project will be a document presenting different portfolios with risk return trade-offs. Students will be assessed against subject knowledge, critical analysis, and creativity in developing portfolio and valuation of securities and their risk assessment.
