I was jubilant to learn about this thrilling opportunity through the workshop took place virtually last week. This position is a career-evolving opportunity which would promisingly equip me with a wide range of both knowledge and hands-on experience in the service providing industry. Agema Work, although being a new company to my knowledge, has already captivated me through its devotion to provide hospitality aspirers with the most flexibility to devote to the service providing industry. Pleasing customers and giving them reasons to always revisit the premises have always been a passion of mine. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Commerce: Hospitality and Tourism Management program at Humber College, where I was involved in the operations of an upscale dining restaurant as a shif manager, a dish-washer, a server, a host, and a food runner. Prior to this, I established my excellent academic background in Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management at Humber, followed by two academic scholarships for profound contributions to the community in general and to the hospitality in particular, and for marvelous academic achievements. I am also a Smart Serve, and Food Handler certificate holder. I, as well, have an “It’s Your Shif” certificate, a “Human trafficking for Service Provider” certificate, an AODA certificate, a “Health and Safety in the Workplace” certificate. Outside the basis of the classroom, I have acquired an aptitude of 3- year working experience in customer service. My current role as a Front End Associate at Forninos Supermarket allows me to come into contact with hundreds of customers per day in a high-pressure, professional environment. I perform my talent in management through directing the customer traffic to ensure the check-out process at each cashier’s lane taking place smoothly while, ofentime, simultaneously making phone calls for a pricecheck to assist other cashiers in need. Dealing with customers’ complaints and comments about the store’s operations is also a part of my duty which ultimately equips me with a wide range of experience when it comes to turning a customer’s negative experience. In the duration of my employments at both Fortinos and Town Inn Suites Hotel, not once was I late, nor taking a day off without a two-week notice. I am also well aware of the importance of always in a well-presentable state since a service provider is the face of the company which is the pivotal element determining the thriving of the business.
