Roswell, GA 30076 Dear Ms. Shoemaker, I would like to ask for your consideration for an internship position as a designer and bench jeweler this coming summer. I first learned of Brown & Co. Jewelers a few years ago when I started my journey to become a jeweler. I was originally drawn in by the nature inspired work of Marco Bicego and was immediately impressed by your variety and willingness to work with custom designs. I will be graduating with a b.f.a. in jewelry design in the spring of 2018 and I am hoping for the opportunity to learn from you, as well as to bring new designs for your customers. As a result of my studies at scad, I have an understanding of the processes of both design work and fabrication from a design. In studies I have learned to utilize drawing and basic bench skills along with CAD to design and finish pieces. As a jeweler my long-term goal is to consistently work with customers to create pieces that they will be able to keep forever.
