A. Uno Math
Formative 1. Whole class instruction: work as a class to solve problems on the math guided practice 2. Paired practice: put two students together to work on and complete the assignment 3. Roam the room (observe): use blocks and language skills to help solve problems 4. Watch video recordings of how students did on the assignment 5. See how each student performed Summative 1. 80% of the students will have the ability to finish a mini quiz (about 10 problems) with 80% accuracy 2. Provide students with a short test containing 10 problems and leave space to draw graphics for visual learners Formative Assessments: 1. Observation- roam the room, watch the students, watch the videos after the activity (write down notes and assess on how each student did) 2. Entry Slips- vocab sorting (subtraction and addition), complete vocab individually, pair with partner to discuss answers, come together as a whole group to discuss correct answers (Thomas, 2019) Summative: 1. Short quiz (10 questions)- as soon as the students are comprehending the content, provide a short quiz to test their knowledge, they have the ability to solve the problem using whatever way works for them, they will be required to show their work, I will collect and grade these quizzes and give the students a score B.
