The parts that are being replaced the most are the Fuel tank totaling 95 repairs, Tire repair totaling 74, and Tire replacement totaling 66.

b. Is there a region of the country that experiences more part failures and replacements than others? i. Identify region: 1. The region that experiences more part failures/replacements are Midwest and Northeast. The Midwest region experienced 260 and Northeast region experienced 208 failures/replacements.

How might the fleet maintenance team use the information to update its maintenance schedule? 1. The fleet maintenance team could utilize the information to update schedules for their facilities. They will also be able to view which repairs are more common based on regions and modify schedules accordingly to ensure there is no backlogs for client’s appointments. c. Which parts are being replaced most due to corrosion or rust?

The parts being replaced the most due to corrosion or rust are Wheel Arch, Fender, and Rocker panel. The wheel arch has a total of 55 repairs, the Fender has a total of 54, and the rocker panel has a total of 53. d. Which parts are being replaced most because of mechanical failure or accident, like a flat tire or rock through the windshield? i. The parts repaired the most are Tire repair at 74, Tire replacement at 66, and windshield replacement at 63.

2. Write a brief summary of your analysis using nontechnical language. a. The data that was provided through an excel spreadsheet was ran to find the most replaced parts and pinpoint which regions experience the most repairs. After careful review of the given data, I was able to find that the Fuel tanks, Tire repairs, and Tire replacements are the most common repairs amongst the business. I’ve also found that the regions with the most repairs are the Midwest region and the Northeast region both being over 200 repairs. 3. Outline the approach that you took to conduct the analysis. a. What queries did you use to identify trends or themes in the data? i. SELECT was utilized in my queries to obtain data from different areas of the table. I also used FROM and WHERE to gather data from different areas of the table. b. What are the benefits of using these queries to retrieve the information in a way that allows you to provide valuable information to your stakeholders? i. This allows for users to organize the given information and makes the information easier to read. 4. Lastly, identify how the functions in the analysis tool allowed you to organize the data and retrieve records quickly so that they demonstrated what you wanted. a. The functions such as COUNT, SELECT, WHERE, and ORDER by allowed for the necessary information to be pulled together then organized at a faster pace. This provides a quicker effective route to analyze the data from the hundreds of lines that were given in the excel spreadsheet....
