(Submit via UTS ONLINE or Canvas) Marking Scheme Students must correctly identify all 1-to-many and all many-to-many relationships, otherwise they score zero marks. Small errors will result in the loss of 1 mark. An example of a small error would be indicating that there must be at least one row in Table A corresponding to a row in Table B, when there may be zero rows in Table A corresponding to a row in Table B. For every error 2.5 marks will be deducted.

Scenario .ERD scenario: Sony makes mirrorless cameras. They want to dominate the DSLR market by 2023. Sony cameras particularly the Alpha7 to Alpha9 series can use two types of lenses, which are native to Sony, which are Sony E-Mount and FE-Mount (Fullframe) lenses. There are third party lenses, which can be mounted on any Alpha series cameras. Third party lenses are usually made by Tamron and Sigma, there could also be more companies making lenses for Sony Fe and E mount systems. The way Sony wants to take over traditional camera brands such as Canon or Nikon, by allowing Sony camera users to be able to use different branded lenses such as Canon and Nikon lenses. These lenses can be attached to the Sony Alpha cameras through an adaptor.(Adapter allows nonnative lenses such as Canon and Nikon for example to be attached to Sony cameras.) The adaptors which make third party non-native lenses (Canon and Nikon lenses to Sony) are not as reliable as native E and EF mount lenses in terms of the ability to autofocus etc. The adapter is designed to achieve compatibility for at least a minimum of ONE non-native branded lens for example: Canon at a time.(Means, Nikon lenses will have a different adapter in order to be attached to a Sony system, and Canon will have a different adapter.) Sony claims that their mirrorless cameras are good value for the price. They are also known for portability and have a good dynamic range.
