Describe an art exhibition that you visited. You should say: when you saw this exhibition where the exhibition was held what was on display and explain your impression of the exhibition

I would like to start off by talking about an art exhibition that I used to vistit. I am a big fan of art, specifically of abstract and contemporary art. Whenever I visit London, I always seize the opportunity to visit an art gallery, especially as admission is usually free. Now I will tell you about the last exhibition I went to in 2019.

I can still remember the day I went to the exhibition, because it was a hot and sunny day in September. My friend, Alison, who lives in London, had asked me to go with her to the Antony Gormley exhibition. To be honest, I had never heard of this artist, but decided to go so I could catch up with my friend.

Antony Gormley is a British sculptor who is famous for creating the Angel of the North, and this exhibition really exceeded my expectations. When I entered each room, I was overwhelmed by the large sculptures, most od which you were able to interact with. The sculpture I remember the most was made of large lightweight metal rings. On the plaque next to the sculpture, it informed me that the design was based on the doodles of a small child, which had been transformed into 3 D form. The artist created this to encourage adults to feel like children again when they climbed through it. Anthony Gormley is best known for his work with human forms, which he for the most part created from casts of his own naked body. Gormley is widely regarded as the best-known sculptor in Britain with permanent public art-works existing in locations around the world.

In a nutshell, this experience was really eye opening for me, because I had never even heard about this artist before but really enjoyed attending the exhibition. I think that everyone should visit an art gallery, because looking at works of art really allow you to take your mind off the everyday stresses in life.

Describe a museum or art gallery you have visited You should say: What is it Why you went there Whatyou did there And explain what you particularly remember about the place. I would like to start off by talking about an art exhibition that I used to vistit. A few weeks ago, I went to the Vietnamese Museum of Ethnology with my friends from high school. It was an educational trip arranged by the school management board which is a biennial event for all grades at school.

The Museum of Ethnology is located in Ha Noi but a bit of a drive from the city centre. It is widely considered one of the finest modern museums in Vietnam. It offers insights into the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam in an effort to preserve their cultural heritage and promote socio¬cultural diversity and understanding within the country.

I remember seeing a lot of artefacts, slides, photographs, audiotapes and videotapes displayed around the museum. In my opinion, the Museum successfully shows the daily lives of these groups together with the different religious rituals and symbolic festivals. All of the displays complement and support one another to create a colourful and diversified picture of Vietnamese culture.

There are both indoor and outdoor sections to the museum. The indoor collection occupies the majority of the exhibition space and well illustrates a number of ethnic groups such as Kinh, Muong, Tay, Thai, Cham, Hoa, and Khmer. For the outdoor part, in the museum’s spacious and peaceful ground there are ethnic houses from various regions of Vietnam. People from each tribe were invited to Hanoi to build replicas of their traditional houses. I think that the outdoor section is very captivating to most tourists not only for the cultural values but also for its natural landscape. Walking around this area makes me feel like I was in a beautiful wild park, which is very relaxing and comfortable....
