Bayani is defined as an unselfish act towards the human race in the Filipino traditional sense; a person of extraordinary courage or bravery who ignores the extreme danger and shows strength to overcome difficulties, while kabayanihan can be defined as a form of active heroism of an individual or a group of people who help others without expecting in return. Nationalism is a love affair with one’s homeland. A country’s identity can be observed in its culture, traditions, religions, beliefs, and even the people’s oneness or togetherness. As a youth, I will demonstrate my nationalism for our beloved country by participating in community service projects that demonstrate that nation-building and development are possible. There are numerous methods to demonstrate our admiration for our country. There are events in our generation that affect our country. There are events in our generation that put our nationality to the test. What matters is that we, as Filipinos, are unified and that we love our motherland. Let us embody the spirit of nationalism in all aspects of our lives. I’ll show my nationalism by showing respect when the Philippine National Anthem is played. We should appreciate our Philippines flag and its function as Filipinos. Encourage our fellow citizens to participate and to respect our flag, anthem, and many symbols. I will purchase Philippine-made goods so that our fellow countrymen can make a decent life.
