1. Diffusion and Osmosis Diffusion is the movement of a substance from an area of low concentration to an area of low concentration while Osmosis is the diffusion of water across a semi-permeable membrane from an area of high concentration of water to an area of low concentration. 2. The temperature of a substance is related to fast the molecules are moving. In the Hot Treatment, the molecules are moving faster than they are in the cold temperature. So, when a certain substance is added to the hot temperature it diffuses quickly than it is in the cold temperature. 3. In the T1, which is a potato that is submerged in the tap water, it doesn’t change the initial and final length while and it is turgid.
