Description

Discussion Five - HIST F017A Discussion Five will be on readings 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 from Reading the American Past. --------------------------------------------------From these pieces of work, Some Account of the Early Part of the Life of Elizabeth Ashbridge, Who died in...1755 caught my attention the most because of the subject of the text and how the work was written. The vision that Elizabeth had seen was very interesting because at first, I was very confused by this imagery. But with further reading, I was able to understand more that this might have been her inner conscious wondering about if she had not made a decision that landed her in this position. But it also served as a forbode towards her life as later when she married her new husband for reasons other than religion, she felt unfulfilled and that she had altered her course of life....
