Therapeutic Procedures The optimal therapy for HTN is the triple diuretic, ACE inchibitor or ARB, and a calciumchannel blocker.

Assess/monitor for tachycardia, bradycardia, pain, and anxiety. Encourage lifestyle modifications to diet, exercise, stress reduction and management, and weight control.
