By creating a website that deals with team effectiveness, I was able to exemplify many of my skills and abilities. I played a major role in helping everyone on my team understand what the project’s guidelines were. If anyone was unclear on what was being asked of them, they came to me for clarification. I also put to use my critical thinking skills when it came to applying organizational behavior concepts to my personal life. Time management played a major role for me and my team members since we had conflicting schedules but were still able to submit the project by the early submission deadline. Finally, my communication skills were tested the most. Since my team was unable to meet in person much outside of class, it was crucial that we stayed in touch and were aware of each other’s progress throughout the duration of the project. We used Google Drive to have all of our progress available for the rest of the team as soon as we typed it. Overall, I found many of the components that you will learn about on this website to be extremely beneficial in building an effective and high performing team....
