Description

Evaluating Lesson Plans Template Compare the “Small Group Guided Reading Lesson Plan” with the “Parts of a Plant Lesson Plan” from your topic materials to determine which is the most effective for meeting the learning needs of early childhood special education students.

Analysis Questions How well do the learning targets/objectives align with the national/state learning standards? Are the learning targets/objectives written well enough? Provide a brief explanation with your answers.

Small Group Guided Reading Lesson The targets/objectives in this small group lesson plan were aligned with the national/state learning standards They were entire and assessable targets/objectives. Clearly, the teacher knew what to do to enforce students to learn and know about at family word.

Parts of a Plant Lesson The targets/objectives in the part of a plant lesson plan were no alignment with the national/state learning standards. Targets and objectives in this lesson plan differed from the goals the teacher wanted them to learn about plants. According to the national/state learning standards, science represents observations about living things, arts, and construction. And it has nothing to do with reading accuracy.

Do the learning activities align with the learning targets/objectives? Are learning activities engaging and developmentally appropriate for the intended group of students? Provide a brief explanation with your answers.

The learning activities in this lesson plan were not aligned with the learning targets/objectives. The teacher expects students to write words quickly without having the chance to build the words appropriated. Students did not meet the students academic function (demonstrate understanding by reading am, it, and –at family words within print in texts and around the room.)

The learning activities in this lesson plan were aligned with the learning targets/objectives. Students could watch through a video what are the part of a plant (Observation about living things in a variety of ways). Then, the teacher gives students the opportunity to create (using arts) their understanding about flowers by drawing and label a flower and using crayons of different colors.

differentiation to meet the learning needs of the intended students. The teacher assisted the students’ behavior and gave a student who have needs for movement the facility to sit in a place appropriate to him to see and engage through watching the video about plant.

Evaluation Question: In 250-500 words, provide justification regarding which lesson plan would be more effective for meeting the learning needs of early childhood and special education students.

For teachers to make an effective lesson plan for meeting the learning needs of early childhood and special education students, Teachers can write a lesson plan. At the same time, they consider several things such as, identify the purpose by knowing what skills it targets. Keeping the activities simple, don't write the activity in paragraphs of detail. Make the plan around the students' interests because if a child isn’t interested, the offered activity won’t be effective. Choose a way, that is appropriate for young learners. And write it down. Record the ideas for the lesson plan with as many/little details as wanted.

The goal of making a lesson plan effective for meeting the learning needs of early childhood and special education students is the lesson plan teachers plan to help them draft how objectives will be met. plan will allow teachers to connect different standards to any activity and then record that. Making a lesson plan will help teachers organize their thoughts to know what they want students to learn in particular and what skills they have or need to improve. Creating an effective lesson plan for early childhood and special education students will be significant because the teacher will see and know the needs and strengths of each student. Using an effective lesson plan, the teacher could also see that all students can participate and learn in a general education setting. And finally, a lesson plan would be enforced the goals teachers have with the students, especially with special needs.
