Description

The locker was a mess! The locker door was cracked open as the contents casually spewed out. Books thrown and disheveled, wet with an unknown substance. Dancing from cover to cover the substance dripped out of the locker and feel to the floor. Accompanying the books, piles of wrinkled clothing fortified wads of stringy purple bubble gum. The gum was laced around books, papers, and the clothes leaning on the locker walls. Brimmed to the top like a glass of water, piles and piles of crumpled, illegible pieces of notebook paper overtook the locker. The next shelf was subjugated to the rotting and moldy aged school lunches. The molding bread and ham smelt as if a garbage can had enveloped you into a tight hug. Old pictures of long lost friends engulfed in the mold that overtook the top shelf. The owner of the locker’s name written on the wall, now worn off and peeling from the mediocre paint job the school conducted. The locker embodied an insane creature gradually coming to life. The streets were packed. Doors of popular shops, opened and closed like eyes of a blinking new born baby. Shops covered the streets with large shadows as the floors towered to the sky. People swarmed the sidewalks and cars covered the asphalt. The sounds of horns honking and engines running tantalized silence on the busy streets. Cars from blue, red, black and white had diffused among the street. Young and old walked the streets seeking for their destination. Buzzing like a swarm of bees, the footsteps of people could be heard from space. A couple pieces of dissolute trash left sections of sidewalk untouched by the public. The shops provided an engrossing smell to the crowd walking on the smooth slick pavement and was adjourning people from the mob. The streets became so congested with the population of people and roaring automobiles that traffic would stop ever so often. I’d never seen a man like that before. Walking with a swagger that contrasted from the others, the man took strides with confidence and held his head up high. His eyes shown bright with joy like a little child on Christmas Day as he laughed with his friends. Eyes the perfect silvery blue and hair a

golden brown, comely to many people. The man was well put together and looked like a walking model that popped from a magazine. There were many that looked like him, but he showed himself in an alien way that was indescribable. The man spoke with enthusiasm and used his hands to describe his sentence. He didn’t look like every other friend in his group, but could easily blend in if he wanted to. He emanated out like a bright light in looming darkness. As his friends jeered at him, he just laughed and laughed. The man had a different persona than other men and waved it proudly like an American flag.

My sister’s room was a nightmare! With the door slightly ajar and the light on the nightmare was exposed. Clothes strewn across the bed and floor, now wrinkled by its unintentional folds. The room looked like a bomb exploded and expelled every content from the closet out and up. Old, empty water bottles hidden in the nooks and crannies in the room. The sheets on the once freshly made bed now thrown every which way causing the room to the look more disastrous. On a table in the far corner, makeup looks thrown all over like someone broke in and rummaged through. The closet was where the initial bomb had exploded. Clothes hung over the doors and the shelves, the clothes subjugated the closet. The aroma of the room was surprisingly pleasant and smelt like being in a field of daisies....
