CLAIMS A. Online Shopping will cause privacy and security issues.

PREMISES Online shopping can cause privacy and security issue because most of the shopping apps are required the personal information of consumers such as name, identity card number, bank account number and more. Consumer also can easily get into the credit card fraud or their personal information also may be used for other purposes. When consumers shop online, they waive certain privacy rights to the online retailer. Online stores can track their purchases over time to give them more suggestions of things that they might like to buy, send an e-mails with sale information and occasionally, sell their contact information to other companies. These days, many online stores do the same thing, tracking the information through credit card information. In contrast, by purchasing something in an online store, consumers are sign away certain privacy right. This is why it is always a good idea to read the Terms of Service.

1. Sharing personal information can cause uncomfortable situation and risk to the consumers. 

According to (Hoffman et al. 1999), the main reason people have not shopped online is "the fundamental lack of faith between most businesses and consumers on the web today".

The researcher (Hoffman et al. 1999) also revealed that 95% of the web users, have

declined to provide personal information to a website at one time or another. Furthermore, 40% have fabricated their demographic data.

2. (Schaupp & Belanger, 2005) has found that privacy was ranked number one concern (46.9%), whereas security ranked least important concern to customers (1.1%).

3. (Lee, 2005) believe that this is because customers usually buy from websites they trust but they are still concerned with credit card fraud, unwanted solicitations and use of their personal information for other purposes.

B. Online shopping will cause

People that shopping online can’t feel the enjoyment like in

shopping mall with their family and friends and share their opinions and suggestions about the products to them. This will create a strong relationship between family and friends. Moreover, in case of offline shopping, sales assistants can shower personal attention on customers and give complete details on the product. If they have any queries, they can ask right there. However, this does not happen in the case of online shopping. All they can do is see the picture and read the description in the phone or laptop.

1. Some people take shopping as means to maintain social contact. Many people enjoy shopping with others and it is often a good way to make social connections.

2. (Zhou et al. 2007) has examine the online shopping experience and its influence on online purchase intentions. When shopping independently online, the enjoyment is lost. Moreover, online shopping provides

independent shopping style where social contact is minimized in that sense.

C. Online shopping will cause product risk.

Product risk is associated with the product purchase online. It is related to how consumers perceive the product and whether or not it meets their expectation. Many people are attracted by great offers which seem too good to be true. For example, Fake online shopping portals display some great products on the website and attract customers to buy the product. Usually, websites which sell fake products instead of the genuine article, do not accept cash on delivery and request customers to make an online payment. But, in the end, customers will either receive the fake product or they will not receive the product at all.

1. One thing that online stores can’t replace is the experience of actually seeing and touching the item consumer are considering buying. For example, clothes shopping can be very tricky online, since they can’t try on the clothes before they buy. There may also be small details that they decide they don’t like in a product that aren’t noticeable until they have it in their hand.

2. (Bo Dai, 2014) point out that product risk is one of most frequently cited reason for not shopping online

3. According to (Bhatnagar et al. 2000; Zheng et al. 2012), product risk increases if the product is technically complex, the product is associated with higher egorelated needs, the product cost higher price, or the product's feel and touch are important.

4. Viewing a product online does not ensure that they are what one would expect. (Bhatnagar et al. 2000) stated that "the likelihood of purchasing on the Internet

decreases with increases in product risk".
