Paragraph Structure In this section, you are presented with two different versions of a paragraph about the importance of libraries. Read each paragraph carefully and answer the following questions. Paragraph A

Paragraph B

Teachers often tell their students to go to the library because of the benefits it has. Libraries have helpful resources such as books and magazines. I find it helpful to use their computers when I have an assignment due. I like to use the internet and look up information about a lot of topics. A library can help students who are enrolled in school.

Instructors at UMA highly recommend that their students take advantage of the online library available to them by the school as well as local libraries that they are able to access in their communities. First, libraries are a great resource of educational materials, such as books, articles, and media. Moreover, using outside sources, such as books or articles will offer credibility to a student’s essay. Second, libraries are also a good resource for internet access and computers. To be specific, students without internet access at home can connect to the Wi-Fi at the library or use one of its computers to submit their assignments online. To sum up, instructors at UMA encourage students to make use of both online and brick and mortar libraries because of the many benefits they offer students.
