Description

Essay: Invention that Transformed the World Introduction Over the years that the humans have walk upon the earth there have been countless technological innovations, some dating back to the Stone Age. Although the ancient world didn’t have all the resources that we have today, the people of those times did magnificent things that paved the road for us today; from the stone tools made in Paleolithic and Mesolithic times to the wheel in 3000 BC, all the stone-tools way to the pyramids in 2560 BC. These inventions made smartphones, remote controls and skyscrapers possible. During the Paleolithic and Mesolithic times people used stone instruments. These stone tools are the oldest surviving technology. Thesis Statement Human beings would make various tools using rock flakes, usually flint. The old wan choppers, for example, seen to the right, have been conceived to break down things. These tools are the most useful tool of today in comparison with smartphones. First Supporting Idea Whilst the human beings of the past had a different shape designed for various tasks today we have an app for that. Smartphones have different apps designed for each task. A smartphone is a tool without which most people can't live today. A smartphone, like stone tools, is meant to simplify people's lives. Finally, Neolithic farmers have refined stone tools. The farmers sharpened the tools of stone, making them more suitable for hunting spears and knives. The smartphone is the same. It seems that there is a new update every other month to make the system more appropriate for the job. Transport was put at a different stage with the inventing of the wheel. Although the first wheels in Mesopotamia were thought to be pottery, they were an innovation that changed the way human beings moved. Far away for society is a major innovation. Like the wheel, the remote changed people's lives. People should walk everywhere before the wheel. Similarly, the distance has done it so that we don't have to get up to change a TV channel. The distance facilitated life, just as the wheel did. These two inventions were designed to help people in their daily lives, but in fact helped make them lazier. Second Supporting Idea The wheel made is so people didn’t have to walk and the remote made it so people didn’t have to get up, leaving people able to sit most of the time. Obviously, these technological breakthroughs had both a positive and negative effect. The Egyptians built one of the ancient pyramids, one of the seven wonders around 2560 BC. For nearly 4,000 years, the Great Giza Pyramid had become the highest man-made building. The Grande Pyramid of Giza is the oldest, highest, three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex which is now bordered by Giza, Cairo in Egypt, and is also known as the Khufu Pyramid or the Kheops Pyramid. It is the oldest of the 7 ancient world wonders and the only one that is still largely intact. The pyramid was constructed for 20 years, concluding around 2560 BC, by Egyptologists to form a tomb for the fourth dynasty, by the Pharaoh of Egypt, Khufu. The Great Pyramid was the highest human-made building in the world for over 3,800 years, at an initial elevation of 146.5 m (481 feet). It is expected to be around 6

million tonnes, containing 2.3 million calcareous and granite blocks, some of which weigh up to 80 tonnes. It was originally covered by calcaired boxes forming a smooth exterior surface; the underlying core structure is visual today, although a few box stones are still visible at the foundation. It was constructed with the excavation and implementation of huge stones from a quarry but various scientific and alternate hypotheses remain about the exact building technique. Third Supporting Idea Within the Grand Pyramid are three well-known chambers. In the basement on which the pyramid is constructed, the lower chamber is cut and unfinished. Within the layout of the pyramid there is the so-called Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber. The most important part of the Giza complex consists of a series of edifices which included two mortuary temples to honor the Khufu (one near the pyramid and the one near the Nile). The pyramids are 3 for Khufu's wives, one for the smaller "satellite" pyramid and a raised rocky road connecting the two temples. Today we can see buildings a quarter of a mile high if we are going to a city. These buildings help to make room for business by the use of unused airspace, and thus constitute a significant innovation. Highlights have several functions, one of which is to be a living space such as hotels and apartments. The Egyptian kings used the pyramids as their final resting spot. Like the wealthy kings of Egypt, today's rich people are also the best living in hotel skyscrapers. All these immense buildings are finished, like the pyramids, and they lose the title of the highest house. Any of the lower-case stones can be seen on the spot. They show the same manufacture and accuracy reported over the years. In the heart and box measuring 193 cm ± 25 cm, Petrie also found a distinct orientation. After constructing the nucleus, he proposed redefining the north, but an error has been made, and the case was constructed in a different direction. This almost impossible task was proposed by the mortar (cement of Petrie), which provided for a level bed enabling the masons to precisely set the stones. Conclusion It may have been 4,000 years for the Great Pyramid of Giza but now it's difficult to last one to ten years. The Burj Khalifa is currently the world's tallest building, 2.717 feet long, but in 2017, another skyscraper is officially planned, which will be almost one kilometer high, at 3.280 feet high. Obviously, the old age has paved the way for us to climb to new heights. Finally, past developments are visible in today's technologies, and from steel and wheel devices, pyramids can be made all the way to today's discoveries, such as smartphones, remote systems and skyscrapers. Once upon a time Nolan Bushnell said “the best ideas are getting lost by the owners of the company and take their own lives." Ultimately, we would be cavemen without instruments, never evolving in evolution, without these developments....
