1.) What was the name of the research project? - The name of the research was “Social stressors and Unusual Experiences” 2.) Describe the experiment’s protocol for seeking informed consent. - When me and two other participants went inside the room, we were given a brief description of what was going to happen. Researcher told us the topic and we were responsible for answering some personal questions. He also mentioned that we could leave the study anytime if we don’t to continue. Participants will not be penalized for leaving the study. If we didn’t know any answer to a question or don’t want to answer we could write N/A. Researcher made us sign a consent form. At the bottom of the consent form it stated if I was interested in similar research study and whether if I give my consent to the researcher to email me for future studies. 3.) What did your participation involve? (To the best of your knowledge, describe procedure, measures.) -

My part was to answer several survey questions. It was both multiple choice and short answer. It asked questions about my religion, race, nationality, and age. It also asked my parent’s age, education, and salary. Survey questions also included some questions about

my family’s health. Whether I was depressed, or do I belief in spirituals. How well I deal with stress. I personally didn’t like the setting. Researcher was sitting on the next table, and I felt like he could see my screen easily. Also laptops weren’t working properly.

4.) What occurred when you completed the experiment? Any debriefing? Were you compensated? - Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the experiment. I was almost done with the social experiment and the laptop was keep crashing. Researcher tried fixing it 2-3 times. But after few minutes Internet kept getting disconnected. My researcher told me it was too late for me to start the study all over again. I received three credits for this experiment....
