Boswell is best known for his biography of Johnson and his diaries describing their travels together. Why does Montag think these books have something to do with Clarisse? a. He thought they related to Clarisse because of the quote Montag read about friendship and how they are made. Boswell and Johnson had similar views. 2. What connection does Montag make between books and empathy? a. They allow readers to see how other people show compassion. 3. Concerning Allegory of the Cave, who would Faber be? What does he say that indicates this is the case? a. He’d be the person that left the cave to explore the unknown. b. "I don't talk things, sir," said Faber. "I talk about the meaning of things.
