“The house reminds me of the close-knit English village I grew up in,” Alison said.

“Everyone always stops to say hi, ask how you are, have a chat, and they’re always looking out for one another to show they really care.

“My favourite thing about my home was watching the four seasons go by and seeing the changes in nature and the garden,” she said.

“In Australia we often get just summer and then winter, but at my little cottage I really got to experience the magical colours of spring and autumn.

“I have lived the authentic fairytale dream in this cottage and I hope somebody else gets to live their fairytale too,” Alison said.

"This home has meant the world to me and I have adored every moment I've lived here."
