Mr. Mathew Grant; Nike’s future sneaker collaborator has recently been accused of domestic abuse.

For one of their 2019 collaborations, Nike had decided to create a sneaker line with the famous athlete Mr. Matthew Grant. The sneaker line was scheduled for release to the public come the end of 2019.

When recent accusations arose regarding Mr. Matthew Grant, the design of the line was still under construction, meaning that the merchandise had still yet to be manufactured.

On the 6th of March 2019, Mr. Grant was seen in a restaurant with his current companion. The couple was caught having a laud argument at the dinner table, in which the athlete after words spoken was seen grabbing his companion in an aggressive way. The event was recorded on video by other individuals in the area and then widely spread on social media.

It was stated in the contract and signed by both parties, that in case of any accusations arising which could reflect negatively on the brand, the collaboration would come to an end. Nike does not tolerate these types of behaviours.

Currently investigations are being carried out by the law enforcements. Therefore, no matter what the final outcome is regarding the accusation the collaboration with Mr. Grant will come to an end.
