This is an OPEN BOOK examination. This exam opens at 10.00 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Thursday 12/11/2020 in Canvas (lms.unimelb.edu.au). The exam must be completed by 13.15 AEST (1:15 PM) on Thursday 12/11/2020. This exam is 195 minutes long including time for uploading your answers. There is no reading time. You must answer all the questions and upload the answers the exam within the time constraint. 3. This examination contains 15 multiple-choice questions and 10 short and long hand-written answer questions for a total of 100 marks. You must complete all questions correctly for full credit. 4. The exam will cover all lecture material, assigned chapters from the textbook, and tutorial assignments. 5. Multiple choice questions are available on Canvas Quiz. Please answer these multiple-choice questions directly on Canvas. 6. All answers to the short and long answer questions MUST BE HANDWRITTEN; typed answers will be awarded zero marks. You must use the provided answe r template to answer the short and long answer questions. You can find the template under “Modules” under “Final Exam Information” in Canvas. 7. For the short- and long-answer questions, you may write answers on the provided answer template using a digital device, such as a tablet, and upload them as ONE PDF FILE to Canvas Quiz. Alternatively, you can print the template prior to the exam, write answers in the template during the exam and scan all pages of the template as ONE PDF FILE to upload. Do not simply take a photo of your work, you MUST scan the answer template using a scanner or mobile devices via a scanner app and pages need to be arranged in order. Detailed instructions for scanning on mobile devices are available under “Final Exam Information” on Canvas. All answers submitted MUST BE LEGIBLE, as illegible (unreadable) answers will be awarded ZERO marks. 8. If you choose to write on printed template and scan, it is recommended to use a black pen or a dark pencil to write your answers and white paper. 9. Collusion between students is absolutely forbidden and will result in very serious consequences. 10. Dr. Kelly will be available by email [email protected] but he won’t interpret questions for you, clarify wording or give any hints. Once you have commenced the exam, you must complete it within the time constraint.
