Final Project: Topic Selection

After thinking about several topics that I could use to add to my final project, after some smile research and looking through other previous course along with the final project rubric and guidelines. I decided that because I am someone who loves technology and how it can be used in so many ways and can be always changing and can be useful to healthcare. My research topic of interest for my final project will be: “Electronic Health Records Technology and its importance in Healthcare (EHRs)”. Technology has always been a part of our lives one way or another and I am someone who loves the way technology works and how it can benefit us in our careers and is something that is always changing to make things better and easier. There are so many technology inventions such as EHRs that are being used and adapted to in the healthcare world to help provide quality of care. Some research questions that come to mind are “what are the impacts of EHRs and how does the technology of it help in healthcare while also improving the quality of care to patients?” I think that technology in healthcare especially in EHRs is something that is always changing and can potentially be many ways that it is beneficial and provide the best patient care as possible.
