Professor Jimidene Murphey Group three Members July 5, 2021 Progress Report A detailed timeline and explanation of the progress and workload throughout the current series of projects.
Work Completed to Date: Week 1:
Learned how to persuade an audience in a letter effectively and gained the skill to use language that is more precise and remove unnecessary words. These skills will be beneficial in communicating with the audience of EWB. In addition, customers will clearly understand the company's goal and feel compelled to contribute to the project. Being able to persuade the mass audience ultimately will lead to the success of the company.
Week 2:
Learned how to write resumes and cover letters, which are critical in job search and career development with EWB.
Week 3:
Received the opportunity to study the outlines and designs of documents and learned how to provide adequate instructions using documents and letters.
Work in Progress: Due to the new policy from Hoffman and Sons, the cost of manufacturing the brochures have gone up significantly. Although offered a 10% discount, it is still a significant price change. To combat this, we have opened up to donations from those who would like to join the cost, covering the extra charge. Work to be completed: This year, EWB has received a large number of applications for the summer volunteer program. The management team is in the process of reading through and sorting applications. After suitable candidates are selected, they will be subjected to interviews and testing to determine the most qualified volunteers for the program. Date For Completion:
