Description

Guidelines for students reporting at the University for attending offline classes 1. All students opting for offline classes will be mandatorily required to carry duly signed consent form from their parents/guardians, full vaccination (double dose) certificate issued by the government and government issued ID proof like Aadhaar Card, and Passport etc. 2. Before arriving at the University campus for attending offline classes, all interested students will be required to complete an online pre-registration through their UMS. Upon completion of pre-registration formalities, an Entry Pass will be generated which should be presented to the officials at University Gate. Entry to the University shall only be allowed upon showing a valid Entry Pass at the University Gate. 4. All the students reporting to the University campus will be considered as registered for offline classes only upon completion of the verification of documents by the University. For this purpose, registrationcum-verification desks will be set up at Shri Baldev Raj Mittal UNIPOLIS. 5. The reporting students will present their vaccination certificates, consent form and government issued ID proof at the time of verification at registration-cum-verification desk. 6. Upon successful completion of verification and registration process, “Pass for offline classes” certificate will be generated which the student can view/download/print from their respective UMS login and mobile app, LPU Touch. Due to prevailing COVID regulations, it is advised that the students report individually in the University without any accompanying parent/guardian. However, in case of unavoidable circumstances maximum one person (parent/guardian) may accompany the reporting student. 8. A specific drop-point will be designated for parents/guardians accompanying their wards to the University. Beyond the drop-point, no one except the verified students will be allowed to proceed. 9. For the students who shall be reporting at the University, it shall be mandatory to attend the classes for communicated courses in the offline mode. No provision for attending classes in the online mode for the courses running in offline mode shall be available to students reporting physically at the University. 10. For the students who shall be reporting at the University, the exact schedule (date and timings) from which the students can start reporting in the academic blocks/buildings to attend classes in the offline mode shall be communicated via UMS My Messages. Till the students are not communicated the exact date, they shall remain quarantined in their hostels. 10. Within the University Campus, Students are advised to keep a soft/hard copy of “Pass for Offline Classes” with them at all times as this pass can be demanded for securing entry to hostels, mess and classrooms etc. 11. Although the University has put in place all possible measures to ensure safety of students, staff and faculty against COVID-19, students in their own interests and for the safety of others are advised to always carry hand sanitizers and clear water bottles with themselves. 12. University has also made requisite arrangements to ensure adequate social distancing measures in the classrooms and within the campus. All students are required to follow all COVID safety instructions and protocols updated by the University from time to time. 13. COVID safety regulations like wearing of face masks and practicing social distancing must be adhered to all the times within the University campus. 14. Student movement (entry/exit) in the blocks will be allowed at pre-designated and fixed time intervals. 15.
