Description

Gun control: America’s Gun culture. (Slovakia, Israel, and Us citizens can buy guns) The NRA (national rightful association) founded in 1871. It is America’s foremost defender of the second amendment. “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” “If you limit the public access to semi automatic technology, you limit their ability to survive. If someone is invading your house, you have five or six shots; you ought to have what you need to protect yourself.” “If you cannot unlock Your phone unless you have the right fingerprint, why can’t we do the same for countrymen?” Writing: Can America do without is gun? (LV1)

NRA The NRA is the largest American organization representing the interests of gun owners. The organization also provides money to some schools for JROTC. It supports other school programs meant to get students interested in shooting sports. These include gun teams, hunting safety classes and farming groups. The National Rifle Association undoubtedly remains a potent political force in the US. With its large political donations and ability to mobilize its membership, the NRA continues to dictate the actions of lawmakers, who inevitably offer only thoughts, prayers, and excuses after every massacre. Many now even advocate putting guns in the classroom, forcing teachers to act as armed police officers.

ON MARCH 24th, less than 40 days after a mass shooting at a High School in Parkland, hundreds of thousands gathered near Capitol Hill in Washington, DC to protest against America’s lax gun laws and implore Congress and President Donald Trump to fix them. Mass shooting horrors have repeatedly failed to move American lawmakers. Last year, Senator Christopher Murphy decided it was time to resort to a filibuster about the need to control the nation’s relentless gun violence. With the help of colleagues in the Senate chamber, he spoke for 15 hours. Nothing changed.

Effects of gun in the USA On February 14, Nikolas Cruz shot and killed 17 people at his former high school in Parkland, Florida. Since then, high school-age activists have created a national movement calling on politicians to find a solution to gun violence. The suspect took part in a school program that included training in shooting skills.

United States outstrips the world in both gun ownership per capita and gun deaths per capita. States with higher proportions of gun ownership also have rates of death by guns higher than the national average. Incidents in which victims kill attackers in self-defense are vanishingly few compared with gun homicides, and suicide is by far the leading cause of gun deaths. Seven American children or teenagers are shot dead daily. And yet so many politicians continue to promote the wares of the gun industry.

Measures to tighten regulations

Obama failed to get reform through Congress. “People are dying and the constant excuses for inactions no longer do, no longer suffice” “The gun lobby maybe holds in the congress hostage, but they cannot get America Hostage, we don’t have to accept this carnage as the price of freedom”      

Expansion of backgrounds checks for gun’s sales. Measures to make the system more efficient, this involves to hire the FBI agent and investigations. Mental health records are to be submitted to the system Enforce gun safety laws Its possible to boost gun safety by using new technologies American universities across the country are publicly supporting high school students who participate in peaceful protests against gun violence....
