Description

iPhone The first iPhone model ever was released on the market in July 2007. The first model, although not exceptional hardware, still marks the new shift of global mobile telephony: from that moment, it will be nothing less then a riot of smartphones with touch controls, dedicated operating systems, mobile applications and virtual shops to buy them. In 2010, Jobs declared that iPhone was born from iPad and from the idea of being able to type on a touch screen; after seeing the first iPad’s prototype, he thought that a phone could be designed in the same way, and from there, iPhone was born. Currently, after various models, iPhone remains one of the best smartphones on the market, as well as being an almost iconic product.

Macintosh On January 24, 1984, the first Macintosh computer was officially presented to the public. The date is a milestone in the history of computing, because that device was the most revolutionary of all computers on the market, with standard mouse (a bizarre device for the time) and an innovative 'graphic' operating system; with easy-to-understand icons such as the recycle bin, the desk and the windows, so it has allowed the use of the computer even to unskilled people in computer science. In addition, it was also the first PC to have a refined design (one of Apple's strong points) and a great commercial success, despite its unattainable price of $ 2,495. Following various models one after the other, it still remains one of the best computers on the market, with a performing operating system and cutting-edge design.

Evolution After 2007, 2010 is undoubtedly the most important year for Apple because the Cupertino’s company has unveiled the first iPad, a product intended for completely rewrite the standards of the industry of tablets. In 2011, the world's first digital assistant for smartphones was introduced: Siri. In 2014, Apple purchase Beats for $ 3.2 billion, creating a music streaming service (Apple Music). In 2015, there is the launch of Apple Watch. In 2016, Apple shocked the world with the removal of the headphone jack from the iPhone 7: a few minutes later it present the AirPods. In 2019, there is the announcement that Jony Ive would leave Apple to start his design company, ‘LoveFrom’, of which Apple will be a customer. Although he will remain as a consultant, his influence will be less important: but his legacy will be etched forever in Apple's DNA, how Steve Jobs got it.

Marketing Strategies In 1977 emphaty, focus and impute were the main characters of the marketing philosophy of Apple and, 35 years later, this philosophy still remains a central point for having loyal customers. In the last years, Apple has added another major products lines, and its advertising agency took very different approaches to get that message across. Despite their differences, Apple’s ads have in common at least one major advantage over many competitors’ commercials: if you love or hate the spots, you’ll be more likely to remember them, and that’s the first step to building a successful image. This company communicates in the language of its audience; it’s presented in a way that invites you to learn about megapixels, rather than stay away from them. Now Apple is the world’s second-largest information technology company by revenue after Samsung Electronics, and the world’s third-largest mobile phone maker.

Market trend The stocks of Wall Street has gained 86% from January, the best performance in the ‘Dow Jones’ of the year, hitting the threshold of $ 290. The American colossus in 2019 has reached a turnover of $ 46.3 billion, and quarterly increases of $ 4.55 (+19%). In early 2017, Apple set a goal to double the revenue of service division in 4 years. The service division was the driving force of the business during the coronavirus crisis, which reported record revenues of $ 13.34 billion, up more than 16%. These activities include: iCloud, Apple Music and the new AppleTv streaming service. The chief executive Tim Cook, has declared to be excited about the results and record of the revenues, and about lowered costs by innovation....
