1. The Benben Stone

2. 3. There are many short mythologies about the Benben stone. The first being that the stone was the top of a very important obelisk in a city called Heliopolis (now destroyed and only the obelisk remains). The Benben stone was believed by ancient Egyptians to be the stone of creation, and the solidified seed of their god, Atum. Every 12.594 years a phoenix was said to land on the stone and lay its new egg, starting a new era of man-kind. The phoenix was believed to come from the land of the gods. The Benben stone, or later called the stone of destiny, was a very powerful object believed to enlighten anyone in its area. However, the stone would cause distorting and horrible effects, needing a ritual by magical priests before getting to close. The Benben stone was believed to be passed on throughout history to very important people, many kings and dictators tried getting a hold of it for its power, and to this day it is believed the phoenix is looking for the Benben stone to lay its new egg and start a new era of man-kind. 4.
