2) Do the following exercises: Download file Veterinary.accdb onto your computer. Complete Module 9 (USING ACTION QUERIES AND ADVANCED TABLE RELATIONSHIPS) from Access 2016 book. o On Step 6 of page AC 539, there is no need to create a backup copy of the database. Only compacting and repairing the database will be sufficient. Upon completion of the indicated steps of Module 9, store file Veterinary.accdb at a secure location on your computer or removable disk. You will need this file for the next tutorial.
Make sure you have the file Veterinary.accdb (which was modified in Module 9) available. Complete Module 10 (AUTOMATING TASKS WITH MACROS) from Access 2016 book. Read the following bullets first: o Skip Step 1 on the top of page AC 560 through the steps on the top of page AC 592 o On page AC594, skip step 2 and 6 having to do with Queries. o Skip step 6 on page AC 596. o Save and close the navigation form but do not exit Access yet. Complete the following additional steps. Create a new macro with two actions Go to the Create tab and in the Macros and Code section, choose the Macro button 1st action: OpenForm (Form Name: frmNavigation), Keep Argument default values.
