If these walls could talk, 1 assignment List three issues brought up in the first segment. List three issues brought up in the second segment. Compare and contrast the situations for the women seeking abortions in the two segments.

1. Unwanted pregnancy and how going about terminating it. The act of incest and the aftermath. Aftermath of a backstreet abortion and it’s physical affects. 2. Overwhelmed by the thought of having another kid. Not wanting another kid to take care of. Deciding o go through with the pregnancy. 3. Wrestling with religion while thinking about getting an abortion. Having trouble figuring out options. Dealing with overzealous zelots who believe abortion is wrong.

One thing all three ladies had in common was an unwanted pregnancy they all wanted to terminate. One woman had gotten an illegal backstreet abortion while one decided to keep the baby the other got a safe abortion at a clinic. One woman had the support of her husband, another didn’t have much support, and one didn’t really want any support it seems. What was also different was who got them pregnant and the way it happened. It’s obvious but all three of them were women at different stages in their lives. The years each event transpired were all different as well....
