Co-Creation Inviting customers to participate in a design or problem-solving process to produce a mutually valued outcome such as new product ideas.!

IKEA: 2018, ‘Co-Create IKEA’. Asked customers for product ideas, ran IKEA bootcamps to work with entrepreneurs, collaborated with university students and connected with innovation labs! Heineken: 2012. ‘Heineken Open Design Explorations Edition 1: The Club.’ Emerging designers to develop new club concept which was unveiled at Milan Design Week 2012! BMW: 2010. Launched co-creation lab, a contest which gave consumers the opportunity to get involved with the design process.!

Innovative fashion/clothing brand comms:! Nike: ‘House of Innovation Beacon’. Created a mixed media sculpture which was suspended in middle of the NYC flagship store which played iconic sport moments in nikes history. Shows that shopping can be experimental marketing and it takes brand message into all areas of product offering! Burberry: 2009, ‘Art of the Trench’ online campaign. Asked customers to upload images of themselves wearing Burberrys famous garment. 400,000 uploaded images in first week from 191 countries. This marketing campaign was based on word of mouth and PR. inspired designers to take ideas from the way customers styled the jacket. This campaign led to Burberry Bespoke which allowed customers to design and order garments online.! Mango: 2019, ‘Your Choices Make Us’, interactive campaign to help create the Spring Summer 2020 campaign. Used instagram stories to ask which samples it should produce. It did this by presenting three sandals, necklaces, 2 dresses and 2 types of knitwear. ! Tiffany and Co jewellery try on online
